The Challenge

5150 Productions contacted us on February 16 to build a website for their "2 Girls 1 Cop" pilot before it launched on Atom.com on March 2. With less than 14 days that included a couple of weekends in between to work with, and with a demanding scope of work for a dynamic website and high-end graphical needs, this was surely a difficult and challenging task. The Makeview team went to work with confidence, but knowing that time and collaboration would be key in achieving the goal by the desired deadline.

The Solution

Makeview designed a graphical mock-up using the logo and images that the folks at 5150 Productions provided. Upon review of the initial mock-up, the client quickly collaborated in editing design and layout work to their liking. The website would contain show and cast information, a blog, a press release page, a dynamic contact page, and many more features. To give the client full dynamic control of the website, the Makeview Administration Panel (CMS) was added to the site and every site feature was linked to it.

The Results

A dynamic website for the pilot "2 Girls 1 Cop" was successfully completed to meet the Atom.com video release deadline. With the use of the Makeview Administration Panel CMS, the client is able to manage all key sections of the website, such as cast and show information, blog, press release, contact messages, and their mailing list. An additional feature was added to give the client further promotion using their social networks' pages, where they simply need to drop the URL for their pages and the Makeview system creates a link with the corresponding social network icon on the front-end of the website.
